ALBAWABA - A video circulating on social media captured a bystander attacking and disarming one of the gunmen responsible for the shooting at Bondi Beach in Sydney, Australia.
The man wearing a white t-shirt was hiding behind a car when he noticed the shooter. He then tackled the shooter from behind, disarmed him, and pointed the rifle at him. The bystander was dubbed as a hero by many internet users on social media for his bravery.
A social media user wrote on X (formerly Twitter) wrote, "watching that brave guy in the white shirt charge in and disarm the shooter gave me chills.. i love real life heroes like him, hoping a strong man tackles any danger to keep me safe someday."
Another added, "Australian hero. This patriot deserves the highest possible honour for such bravery, undoubtedly saved many lives."

According to Sydney Police, the shooting, which occurred at Bondi Beach during a Hanukkah celebration, left 10 people dead and at least 18 injured, as reported by AFP.
Among the two gunmen, one was killed during the incident, while the other was injured and detained by the NSW Police.
