ALBAWABA - A number of Jeffrey Epstein survivors took to social media with a new video calling for Congress to release the Epstein files to the public. The powerful message spread across various platforms, garnering millions of views and comments from upset netizens demanding the same thing.

All the women featured in the video were holding past photos of themselves when they were younger, stating further how much pain Jeffrey Epstein caused them. Several disclosed that they were 14 to 17-year-olds when they fell victim to the American financier and sex offender.

One of the victims stated how, aside from the women featured in the video, there are about "a thousand" other victims of Epstein.

Another said, "It's time to bring the secrets out of the shadows. It's time to shine a light into the darkness." The video concluded with a call for help, asking individuals to contact their "Congressmen" and demand that they release the Epstein files.

In response to the video, many netizens demanded justice for the individuals as calls to release the files increased once again.

Democratic members of the House Oversight Committee recently claimed that US President Donald Trump "knew about the girls," citing an email written by Jeffrey Epstein to American journalist Michael Wolff in 2019.

According to AFP, the committee released three emails on Wednesday, including one Epstein wrote to his wife, Ghislaine Maxwell, in 2011, which revealed that Trump "spent hours" at Epstein's house with one of the sex trafficking victims.

Epstein also wrote in the email, "that dog that hasn’t barked is Trump," and that he hasn't once been mentioned in the case.

The American financier and sexual trafficker committed suicide while serving time in a New York jail in 2019. At the time, Epstein was awaiting a trial on federal charges.
