ALBAWABA - Baby monkey "Punch" is finally experiencing some love after his touching story, which echoed worldwide, triggering the attention of millions of people.

The little monkey "Punch" has turned the page on loneliness and begun a new chapter of integration and love after a new video emerged online showing him hugging another monkey.

Punch, a 6-month-old macaque, had previously become a social media sensation after heartbreaking videos surfaced showing him clinging to a stuffed toy, seeking security after being abandoned by his mother at birth.

This scene garnered widespread sympathy, especially given reports of him being ostracized within the enclosure.

This time, Punch appeared exchanging intimate moments with a female macaque believed to be named "Moe-chan," as they appeared affectionate and playful, jumping, hugging, and playing together in scenes full of vitality, joy, and happiness.

The change was not limited to his new relationship, but the footage also revealed Punch's gradual integration with the rest of the troop, as he was seen sitting among the adult monkeys, receiving care and cleaning, and even playing with them, in a clear indication of the improvement in his social and psychological condition.

On the other hand, Ichikawa City Zoo, where monkey "Punch" stays, is now accepting donations from fans who wish to support the world-famous monkey.

"This '#GanbarePunch Supporters Guide'was created in response to the global popularity of Punch, a Japanese macaque at the Ichikawa City Zoological and Botanical Garden, and to the many voices from both within Japan and abroad who have expressed support for Punch and the zoo," the Japan zoo wrote.
