ALBAWABA - A clip has gone viral on social media, capturing the moment the Pakistani Prime Minister was informed that the Iranian delegation had withdrawn from talks with the United States.

PM Shehbaz Sharif arrived in Switzerland along with the head of the military, Asim Munir, for a peace meeting between the United States and Iran on Sunday. Pakistan was a main mediator in stopping the conflict, which was sparked on Feb. 28, 2026, and reaching a memorandum of understanding (MoU).

After 80 minutes from the beginning of the talks, the Tehran delegation walked out of the room following threatening comments made by U.S. President Donald Trump and the Israeli military's aggression in Lebanon.

It is worth noting that it is unclear if or when formal negotiations will resume, as discussions are reportedly underway.

According to Iranian media, negotiators did not reach the topic of nuclear negotiations before Iran's representatives left the place.
