ALBAWABA - An athlete from Turkey who played for the country at the Paris Olympics went viral across social media because of his appearance as memes swarmed every platform with people calling him a "Hitman" and a "trained assassin." 

The individual in question is 51-year-old Yusuf Dikec of Turkey who wowed fans across social media for not having any specialized gear for shooting and appeared from the crown to give the sport a go. To everyone's surprise, Dikec copped the silver medal!

Who is Turkey's hitman at the Paris Olympics?

He was wearing thick black glasses and a shirt with "Turkey" written on it to represent his beloved country at the Paris Olympics. None of the special tools and equipment other contestants had like lenses and sound-dampening headphones.

One user on X (formerly known as Twitter) wrote, "I love how everyone uses specialized lenses for shooting to avoid blur and increase precision... But then Turkey sends out a guy who looks like he just picked up the gun for fun and wins silver."

Furthermore, the 51-year-old also had his hands in his pockets for extra points while shooting to show comfort and capability. 

He was competing for Turkey for the 10m Air Pistol with partner Sevval Ilayda Tarhan and made history by copping the silver medal as mentioned above.
