Samsung Electronics Levant, a global leader in digital media and convergence technologies, sponsored the Middle East Technology Show (METS) and displayed many of their IT products to consumers. Samsung’s display area allowed high-level executives and experts in the industry to have a first hand experience with the products.

METS 2011 was held at the prestigious Business Park, a modern and high-tech venue dedicated to the ICT and ICTES industry on June 15 - 19, 2011 under the patronage of HRH Princess Sumaya Bint Al-Hassan, President of Al-Hassan Scientific City and the Royal Scientific Society.

Samsung displayed all of their IT products available to the Jordanian market. Some of these products included NPC LCD monitors, LFD screens, and printers. The LFD screen was a big hit as it was provided for the video wall and used in correlation with the Microsoft Xbox. Consumers were able to play games on the giant screen using motion technology. They also had the opportunity to utilize the touch screen feature by writing on the actual screen.

Traffic was very high at the Samsung booth. With all the available products and trained Samsung IT representatives, people were able to ask all the pertinent questions for their business and recreational technology needs.

Sangsuk Roh, president of Samsung Electronics Levant, said: “We are pleased to sponsor the only Information and Technology trade show in Jordan. This occasion offered us a chance to introduce many of our latest IT and business solution lineups. We always aim to take part in local activities and contribute to any event that is geared toward spreading the latest in technology.”
