In a world characterized by unequal wealth, a recent analysis has revealed that there are countries containing a number of wealthy individuals that exceeds the total population of entire countries.

The total number of wealthy individuals globally exceeds 15 million, which is more than the population of Rwanda, one of the most densely populated countries in Africa.

The United States tops the list of countries with the largest number of millionaires, with a total of 5.4 million millionaires - a figure that exceeds the total population of Ireland, which stands at 5.2 million.

China occupies the second position, with 862,000 millionaires - a number that surpasses the population of Guyana, which is 814,000.

Germany takes the third spot, with 806,000 millionaires, a figure larger than the population of Bhutan, which stands at 787,000.

Japan ranks fourth, with 755,000 millionaires, a number greater than the population of Luxembourg, which is 669,000.

The United Kingdom comes in fifth place, with 603,000 millionaires, a figure exceeding the population of Malta, which is 553,000.

France occupies the sixth position with 506,000 millionaires, a number that exceeds Brunei's population of 453,000.

Switzerland follows in seventh place with 428,000 millionaires, a figure that could offset Iceland's population of 394,000.

Australia takes the eighth spot with 383,000 millionaires, surpassing Vanuatu's population of 335,000.

Canada rounds out the top nine with 371,000 millionaires, a number that exceeds Barbados' population of 282,000.
