Borussia Dortmund (0-0-0) face Arsenal in the group stages for the third time in four years and the two sides are quickly becoming major European rivals. With the Gunners having gotten the better of the results over their four meetings, Jurgen Klopp will be looking to a home victory and nothing less.
Klopp has kept his selection headache from the weekend thanks to an ever growing list of injuries. Ilkay Gundogan, Marco Reus, Nuri Sahin, Oliver Kirch, and Dong-Won Ji are all missing while Mats Hummels and Jakub Blaszczykowski remain unavailable.
Arsenal (0-0-0) showed some great moments against English Champions Manchester City over the weekend but their defensive frailty cost them. If they do not tighten up at the back and maintain their attacking pressure throughout the night in Dortmund they could once again suffer a late stutter.
While Dortmund have their injury issues so do the Gunners as a perennial long list of absentees has unfortunately become a norm for Arsene Wenger in the last several seasons. Olivier Giroud, Theo Walcott and Serge Gnabry are joined by both Mathieu Debuchy and Nacho Monreal whom went down over the weekend.
