England and Croatia will kick off their 2026 World Cup campaign today when they meet at Dallas Stadium in the USA, as part of the first round of the group stage.
Both teams will compete in Group L, which also includes Ghana and Panama.
Match Preview
The Three Lions have won the World Cup title only once in their history, which was in the edition they hosted back in 1966. The English team has always had a great record in their World Cup appearances, especially in the group stage, where they have many victories and are usually one of the first teams to qualify for the knockout rounds.
On the other hand, analysts do not usually consider Croatia as title favorites whenever they participate. However, they reached the final in the 2018 World Cup and lost to France, and secured third place in the 2022 World Cup in Qatar.
