Fluminense has moved to terminate Marcelo's contract following his clash with coach Mano Menezes last week.

Saudi Pro League clubs Al-Nassr and Al-Qadsiah have been alerted and are both circling for the former Real Madrid left-back, as per Marca.

The veteran star failed to win over Fluminense fans and endured difficult times since his return to Brazil.

The two SPL clubs are already working on signing the free agent.

Marcelo made a name for himself during his 15 year stint at Real Madrid, as he helped the Spanish giants win the Champions League title four times.

The 36-year-old left Los Blancos following the end of his deal in 2022 and moved to Olympiacos afterward.

However, his stay in Greece did not last long as he eventually returned home to join Fluminense on a free transfer in February 2023.
