Real Madrid received a massive boost in their quest to sign Kylian Mbappe due to Paris Saint-Germain willingness to reduce their asking price by €50 million.
Spanish publication Voz Populi says that PSG president Nasser Al-Khelaifi is now open to selling the 24-year-old for a reduced price.
The Frenchman has turned down PSG's attempts to renew his deal which is set to expire next summer.
If the player were to remain at the club until the end of his contract, he will then be able to leave for free.
Therefore, PSG are now willing to let Mbappe go as they have focused their attention on getting Randal Kolo Muani from Eintracht Frankfurt.
Meanwhile, Real Madrid were recently dealt a heavy blow with the injury of Vinicius Jr.
The Madrid giants are also without a proper replacement for Karim Benzema who left the club to join Al-Ittihad earlier this summer.
It remains to be seen whether Mbappe will end up at Real Madrid in the remaining hours of the transfer window or not.
