Real Madrid are set to test Chelsea's resolve in regards to Reece James, according to Football Insider.

The Blues are keen on keeping the 23-year-old despite his continued struggles with injury.

He signed a six-year deal which runs until 2028 and is now earning reportedly up to £250,000-a-week.

The Madrid giants have been following the right-back for some time now and are planning to test the resolve of Chelsea in the near future.

James is currently suffering from a hamstring injury he sustained in the season-opening 1-1 draw against Liverpool last month.
