Scenarist Mahmoud Abu Zaid has nominated Tunisian artist Durrah for the leading role alongside prominent Egyptian singer Tamer Husni in the television drama “Ibn Al Balad” (Homeboy), which will mark Tamer’s first television acting experience. The drama is to be aired during the Ramadan season of 2011.
The drama will be directed by Sandra Nash’at in her first television directing experience as well.
