Lebanese singer Melhim Zein has inaugurated the grand opening of the Lebanese AL Hazimieh Music Festival, marking its second consecutive year. Melhim sang a collection of his most popular hits marking the night of his performance with significant success. Organizers of the event revealed that over 4 thousand people attended.
According to the London based Elaph, during the event, Melhim talked about his summer schedule as he is in the process of preparing the launching of his upcoming album, which is scheduled to be out during the Muslim holiday Eid El Fitr that coincides right after the holy month of Ramadan. Melhim also revealed that he will be taking part in numerous music festivals in Lebanon and across the Arab world.
The singer has denied recent circulating rumors that he intends on resigning from his music career and intends on shifting his talents to reciting religious prayers. Melhim stressed that being able to artistically recite religious prayers is a dream and he wishes he has thought of doing so, but at the current time he is focused on his music career and has numerous obligations to fulfill.
