Lebanese singer Pascal Mashalaani has expressed her sorrow over what is going on in Egypt. The singer had posted on her official Facebook internet website that she is sad for Egypt, which she considers to be her second country. She added that she gives her condolences to the family of those that lost their lives in the protests taking place and may God protect Egypt and its people.

Pascal stated that she hopes security and stability will return to Egypt and life will return to be as it was.

On a different note, Pascal recently released a new clip for the song titled “Bidak Italiqni” (You want to divorce me), which is considered to be a completely new subject not tackled by anyone in the past.  The clip is released close to the time that Pascal has gotten married to the maestro of her band musician and composer Milhim Abu Shadeed. The couple married five months ago.

The title of the song surprised many, who had assumed that the singer is facing marital problems and as a result she released the song. Pascal stressed that the song in no way reflects her marital life and she is happily married.
