Egyptian actress Wafa Amer revealed that at the beginning of her acting career she played numerous seductive roles due to the fact that she was in dire need of money and at the time was not able to be picky about the roles she accepts or rejects.
The actress stressed that after she reached the fame and success she was after, she was able to stop playing seductive roles and became more careful about the kinds of roles she accepts not wanting to be stereotyped as a seductive actress.
Wafa considered that her husband, producer Mohammad Fawzi, is behind her artistic maturity in choosing the right roles that will add to her career. She also denied that her ongoing success is based on her husband’s fame and wealth.
Wafa has denied rumors that there is a dispute between her and Egyptian actress Ghada Abd Al Raziq over their joint film “Kaf Al Qamar” (The moon’s palm) stressing that she and Ghada are on good terms and there are no problems between them.
