Al Wasl sign Hassan Ali Ibrahim
Al Wasl Football Company sign Emirati player, Hassan Ali Ibrahim, who hails from Al Ahli, for a one year contract with the option to extend.
Hassan Ali Ibrahim represents the fifth Emirati player to sign with Al Wasl, amidst vigorous efforts by the company to build a strong team in preparation for next season. Al Wasl has been very active in the transfer market recently, putting a lot of effort into producing the winning combination that will be able to truly dominate in next year’s league.
The 29-year old midfielder, whose impressive resume includes playing for the UAE National team, will be a great asset to the team and the club as a whole as the defense line is strengthened. Hassan Ali, along with the recently signed Chilean midfielder, make strong additions to the midfield as the attack is given more weight as well.
Sweidan Al Naboodah, Vice Chairman of Al Wasl Football Company, said, “We have had our eyes on Hassan Ali for quite some time, as he is a very talented player, and we are happy to have him finally join our team. We have faith in all of our Emirati players, along with the entire team, for their hand-picked talent that will come together in perfect harmony out there on the pitch, under the inspiring management of Diego Maradona.”
On being chosen to join the winning combination, Hassan Ali commented, “While Al Ahli club will always have a special place in my heart; I am ready and eager to take on the amazing opportunity to work under the management of one of the greatest footballers of our time with one of the biggest clubs in the UAE. I would like to thank Al Wasl for this chance and my fans for all of the support they have shown me thus far.”
Al Wasl first team gathered yesterday for the first time after summer break to start pre-season preparations with the club’s fitness coach, which included physical training in the gym. The team members will undergo medical tests throughout the week before head coach, Diego Maradona, returns to Dubai and leads the team’s training for the remainder of the summer camp.
