The [Algerian] Government is resolutely committed to establishing a genuine "growth pact" with both public and private enterprises on the basis of a new "relationship of trust," according to observers.
Prime Minister Abdelmalek Sellal hold a meeting in Algiers on Thursday with representatives of employers and the Central Union of Algerian Workers (UGTA) to discuss new objectives of productive enterprises.
The meeting was marked by the sincerity of commitments made by the two sides. Indeed the Government assured the SMEs of its support for boosting national economy and addressing their problems, and the employers were pleasantly surprised by the position of public authorities.
Sellal also proposed to employers to "build together a genuine growth pact" to enhance investment and national production.
"In 2013, I hope that we would build together a genuine growth pact. It’s no longer possible to have only 700,000 SMEs in Algeria," PM said.
The Prime Minister also asserted his willingness to work with the productive economic sector by establishing a genuine relationship of trust, so as to emerge a new conception of the corporate sector.
By calling public companies and industrial groups to rejoin the Forum of Business Managers (FCE), Sellal reassures SMEs, employers and managers of public companies about his willingness to combine efforts for the emergence of dynamic economy and to give a meaning to "the growth pact."
