Tenders to build 13 modern Durrat Al Khaleej bridges will be submitted in the last week of this month, said the CEO of the company, Jassim Al Jowder. According to Bahrain Tribune, Al Jowder said that upon completion the bridges will stand as one of the "outstanding and important tourist attractions" in the Kingdom.
According to him, all bridges will feature various services and facilities including walkways. The tenders for the bridges that cover a distance of three kilometres have already been submitted.
