Work is ahead of schedule on a BD980,000 tower block, in Juffair, Bahrain that will generate income for charity. The Islamic Education Society (Charitable) Building is being constructed on a 7,000 square-metre site near Al Fateh Islamic Centre (Grand Mosque).
According to GDN, it will consist of flats and offices that will be rented out to generate long-term income for the society's various charitable projects. Work on the 11-storey building commenced late last year and was due to take 18 months, but officials say it will be ready before May next year.
