Bahrainis on waiting lists for housing units are to be paid a monthly allowance of BD100 (US$265). Acording to the GDN, Bahrain's Prime Minister Sheikh Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa approved the package as he received a delegation of MPs last Wednesday.
Each candidate becomes entitled to the monthly pay-out five years after submitting his application.
