The Bahrain Hotels Company (BHC) has announced plans to add a series of serviced apartments to the Gulf Hotel, Manama, Bahrian. Construction is expected to cost approximately four million Bahraini dinars ($10 million)
The 15-storey building will feature a total 101 apartments, with a variety of one, two and three bedroom suites. Construction is scheduled to begin in July and has a target date of completion set for January 2005.
BHC owns and operates the Gulf Hotel, the Gulf Intertiol Convention Centre and provides catering facilities including sale of beverages. The company reported net earnings of BD 2.6 million for 2002, compared to BD 2.3 million in the year prior. — (menareport.com)
