Business Bay, Dubai's new upscale commercial district, will lure more than Dh65 billion in direct investment in 230 commercial and residential towers, the daily Gulf News quoted a top official as saying. "Once completed, Business Bay, a city within a city, will create a new centre or downtown in Dubai attracting more than Dh65 billion in investment by developers," Hashim Al Dabbal, chief executive of Dubai Properties, has told the newspaper.
Dubai Properties, developer of the Business Bay, is investing about Dh1.5 billion on its infrastructure that includes the extension of the Dubai Creek.
