The recent soaring demand for residential apartment units and retail and office space in Abu Dhabi has led UAE-based Damac Properties to open a new local sales office in the emirate.

The Abu Dhabi office launch by Damac represents the fourth UAE-based sales office to its already existing outlets in Dubai Media City, Bin Ham Building facing Deira City Centre and Al Moosa Tower 2 on Shaikh Zayed Road, according to Khaleej Times.

"The opening of our sales office in Abu Dhabi stems from the large interest in our properties by residents of the UAE capital as well as visitors to the city from many parts of the globe,” said Peter Riddoch, CEO at Damac Properties.

“On Tuesday, our launch date, our doors will be exceptionally open from 10am till 10pm and we expect a great turnout", he explained, optimistic of the large investor interest in the launch. "We have already established a presence in Abu Dhabi by launching our first project, Oceanscape, earlier this year. We accordingly felt that the presence of a sales office was imminent", Riddoch added.

The company has experienced increasing interest in its properties in Abu Dhabi as well as in other parts of the UAE, which is experiencing an unprecedented real estate boom on the backs of a soaring economy and rising oil prices.
