Dubai's real estate sector attracted Saudi investments worth 26 billion Saudi Riyals ($6.9 billion) in 2004, 20% increase compared to 2003, reported the Emirate newspaper, Al-Bayan on March 23. Many factors encouraged real estate investors to enter the UAE market, and especially Dubai, including the convenient financial loans offered by Dubai government and banks, and the fast procedures of receiving licenses for dwelling and offices projects. The government of Dubai relays on authorized advising offices for this purpose, which gained 1.5%-2.5% of the project value in return for their administrative services.
