Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum inaugurated Grosvenor House, West Marina Beach, Dubai, the first hotel at the city’s newest residential location, Dubai Marina.

The 45-storey mixed-use property opened its doors to hotel guests and apartment residents three months ago. Since then, it has registered sound occupancy levels and the majority of its 205 apartments have already been leased, according to general manager, Pam Wilby.

The 217-roomed hotel, which was just over two years in the making, is owned by Sheikh Ahmed and is a mix of furnished apartments and hotel. The lifestyle property has a dedicated spa and grooming floor, Retreat Health & Spa, as well as 13 restaurants and bars, led by the world-famous Buddha Bar, which was launched at the same event.
