Dubai: Weekly land transactions

The total value of land transactions in Dubai last week peaked at Dhs521.37 millions , of which sales exceeded Dhs375 million. The total value of mortgages during the period was Dhs146.72 million, according to the Land Department.

 

A total of 46 sale transactions were registered with the Department by the end of the week, the most valuable of which was a plot in Marsa Dubai that was sold for Dhs100 million. The next two most prominent sales saw a second plot in Emirates Hills Second acquired for the sum of Dhs70 million and another in Al Nahda First for Dhs25.5 million.

                                                                       

The Al Satwa area was the most active in terms of the week's sales, with some 4 transactions. Al Barsha Third followed it with 3 sales.

 

During  the period, Marsa Dubai recorded the highest turnover by value, at Dhs100 million, followed by the Emirates Hills Second area, Dhs70 million, and Al Nahda First area, Dhs46.44 million. 

            

The biggest area sold was the 782719 sq ft in the Lehbab area, which went for Dhs12.52 million. A 37680 sq ft plot in the Marsa Dubai Area was acquired for Dhs100 million, while 29062.56 sq ft of Emirates Hills Second was disposed of for Dhs70 million. 

                                       

During the period under review 53 mortgages worth Dhs75.07 million were registered, the most significant of which as the Dhs30 million for an area at Al Barsha First. There was another for Dhs20 million on an area in Trade Center First.
