Swicorp, a Swiss-based investment banking firm, and Egypt’s Sigma Capital have entered into a joint-venture agreement to create Swicorp Sigma Egypt (SSE).
The new venture’s activities will cover corporate finance services, the raising of debt and equity capital and general financial engineering and restructuring. SSE will be 75 percent owned by Swicorp and 25 percent owned by Sigma Capital.
Working closely with Swicorp’s existing offices in Switzerland, Saudi Arabia, Algeria and Tunisia, SSE will offer its clients a range of corporate finance services both within Egypt and abroad.
Sigma Capital’s portfolio of services currently includes investment banking, asset management, securities brokerage, equity research and technical analysis. — (menareport.com)
