The general department for electricity distribution in Alrasafa (Baghdad province) said that is continues its work to ease congestions in the grid by building a number of sub-stations and replacing some electrical transformers.
The general manger of the department , engineer Nafaa Abed, added that the engineering units at the department have built a substation in Albnouk district and directed a transportable station to Alhesniya district. They also work to rehabilitate Almadaeen station.
The engineer said, according to <i>Azzaman</i> newspaper, that the work also included the replacements of a number of transformers at various locations.
