GCC economies are in a good position this year, thanks to the high oil prices and liquidity, a senior British economist has claimed. High oil prices and still low interest rates in the region are creating an abundance of liquidity which is supporting asset prices, said Steve Brice, according to the GDN.
"There is little sign of change on this front for the foreseeable future," he told a seminar on Global Economic Trends and their impact on the GCC.
