GAC Dubai has migrated up from the ISO 9002:1994 to the ISO 9001:2000 certification for Quality Management System. Based on the ‘process approach’, the ISO 9001:2000 judges a company’s quality management system on the basis of identifying the various business activities within the organization, and the interaction of the activities with other external forces as well as the management of these activities.

“The ISO 9001:2000 is the most appropriate certification of its kind for our business,” said Per Zachrisson, GAC Dubai managing director. “Achieving it is not only a testament to our existing high standards but serves also as an incentive for us to continually improve productivity in our daily business activities as well as consistently deliver the highest quality of service to our customers.”

The upgraded standard continuously evaluates customer feedback, enabling the company to improve its understanding of customer requirement and customer satisfaction levels. Existing systems such as the Customer Feedback Form (CFF) and the Corrective Preventive Action Reports (CPAR) have also been customized to suit local markets where necessary.
