Gulf tourists to spend 100,000 nights in Swiss vacation

The director general of the Tourism Promoting Authority in Geneva, Fransua Praynad, was cited by Al-Bayan newspaper, stating that he estimates that by the end of 2000, the arriving Arabian Gulf tourists to Switzerland will spend nearly 100,000 tourist nights in the country. 

 

He added, that this figure is out of the 2.2 million total nights spent by foreign tourists in the country in the same year.  

 

The Swiss City of Geneva captures the first position in terms of the tourism destinations of the Arabian Gulf tourists. The Swiss official added that 20,000 Swiss tourists spend their vacations in Dubai annually. — (Albawaba-MEBG)
