In line with worldwide youth-oriented development initiatives and with the sole objective of developing Bahraini university and school students’ Knowledge and skills to meet the market’s needs and requirements, inJAz Bahrain sets base its operations.
Inaugurated by Shaikha Hessa bint Khalifa Al Khalifa, inJAz Bahrain is a non-profit organization, predominantly dependant on the support of the private sector, which aims to prepare the Bahraini youth for entering the labour market. inJAz Bahrain is part of Junior Achievement Worldwide - an international organization with representative in over 112 countries.
Bahrain is the first of the GCC states to inaugurate this organization that aims to cultivate the entrepreneurial spirits in youth. inJAz Bahrain provides Bahraini youth with opportunities to experience how business works by participating in activity based programs.
“We seek, through inJAz Bahrain, to help the Bahraini youth acquire high quality knowledge relating to personal success” said Shaikha Hessa, the Executive Director of inJAz Bahrain. “We encourage them to take initiatives and be inspired to improve their own prospects and play an active role in the economic development drive. Our core aim is to create a new generation who value the role of free enterprise in providing employment and creating prosperity.”
inJAz Bahrain’s main activities are programmes such as Enterprise in Action, Leadership, Success Skills, Company, Business Ethics and Entrepreneurship Master class as well as other relevant programmes through which inJAz Bahrain can motivate Bahraini youth to lead a better life in the future.
inJAz Bahrain exerts efforts in bringing together the public and private sectors in helping in the development of Bahrain’s youth. Shaikha Hessa thanked all parties involved from both public and private sectors including the Ministry of Education represented by Dr. Majed Bin Ali Al Naimi, for their great support to inJAz Bahrain. “The Ministry of Education, the Bahrain Development Bank, Bahrain Business Incubator Centre, and a number of private sector companies including Esterad Investment Company, Bank of Bahrain and Kuwait, Bahrain Maritime &Mercantile International, BANZ Group, Bapco, Batelco, Citibank, Ernest & Young, and HSBC all have played a pioneering role in supporting inJAz Bahrain since its inception.”
