Customers of Jordan Kuwait Bank (JKB) will be the first in the Kingdom to receive EMV chip cards, following the bank’s upgrade of its Nomad Cortex payment solution from Nomad Software.

By implementing the Nomad Cortex version 2.6, JKB will be able to issue and acquire EMV payment cards, well ahead of the January 2006 compliance mandate for the Middle East region.

The bank will also benefit from faster and more efficient payment processing, more secure transactions to help reduce fraud and improved customer service levels.

Nomad Cortex will manage the end-to-end processes involved in issuing and authorizing EMV debit and credit cards, from card production, replacement and renewal to the comprehensive management of customer data. — (menareport.com)
