The total value of land transactions in Dubai yastarday peaked at Dhs95.89 millions , of which sales exceeded Dhs52 million. The total value of mortgages during the period was Dhs44.33 million, according to the Land Department.
A total of 13 sale transactions were registered with the Department by the end of the day, the most valuable of which was a plot in Mardaf that was sold for Dhs16.13776 million. The next two most prominent sales saw a second plot in Al Nahda Second acquired for the sum of Dhs13.176 million and another in Al Mezhar Second for Dhs7.436 million
The Al Rashidiya area was the most active of the sales, with some 3 transactions. Mardaf followed it with 3 sales.
During the period, Mardaf recorded the highest turnover by value, at Dhs19.21 million, followed by the Al Nahda Second area, Dhs13.18 million, and Al Mezhar Second area, Dhs7.44 million.
The biggest area sold was the 52000 sq ft in the Al Mezhar Second area, which went for Dhs7.44 million. A 47464 sq ft plot in the Mardaf Area was acquired for Dhs16.14 million, while 21600 sq ft of Al Nahda Second was disposed of for Dhs13.18 million.
During the period under review 30 mortgages worth Dhs15.62 million were registered, the most significant of which as the Dhs8 million for an area at Al Hamriya. There was another for Dhs7 million on an area in Oud Metha and a further sum of Dhs5 million registered on an area of land sold in Al Raffa.
