Land transactions in Dubai top Dhs429.02 millions

The total value of land transactions in Dubai last week peaked at Dhs429.02 millions , of which sales exceeded Dhs253 million. The total value of mortgages during the period was Dhs176.35 million, according to the Land Department.

 

A total of 34 sale transactions were registered with the Department by the end of the week, the most valuable of which was a plot in Oud Metha that was sold for Dhs90 million. The next two most prominent sales saw a second plot in Emirates Hills Second acquired for the sum of Dhs24.406 million and another in Al Mamzer for Dhs18.5 million.

 

The Emirates Hills First area was the most active in terms of the week's sales, with 16 transactions. Al Mamzer followed it with 4 sales.

 

During  the period, Oud Metha recorded the highest turnover by value, at Dhs90 million, followed by the Al Mamzer area, Dhs67.9 million, and Emirates Hills First area, Dhs37.85 million.

 

The biggest area sold was the 45194 sq ft in the Emirates Hills Second area, which went for Dhs24.41 million. A 26147 sq ft plot in the Oud Metha Area was acquired for Dhs90 million, while 20000 sq ft of Al Mamzer was disposed of for Dhs16.3 million.

 

During the period under review 41 mortgages worth Dhs114.88 million were registered, the most significant of which as the Dhs39 million for an area at Al Nahda Second. There was another for Dhs19 million on an area in Al Nahda Second
