ALBAWABA – New iPhone 16 leaks have recently surfaced by infamous Apple leaker Majin Bu on X (formerly Twitter), who shared an alleged chassis mold of the upcoming iPhone’s prototype, which shows a vertical camera, with another leak showing two new potential colors decorating the device.
The metallic mold showcases a vertical camera setup akin to the iPhone 11, however with the flashlight outside the pill-shaped module. According to Phone Arena, the move from the diagonal design on the iPhone 15 is due to Apple planning to bring the iPhone 15 Pro capability of spatial video recording to the base iPhone 16 and iPhone 16 Plus.
Recent iPhone 16 designs, according to MacRumors, have a reduced Action Button and a new pressure-sensitive Capture Button in addition to the revised camera bump design, which also adds that Apple has been exploring several designs, and despite Bu's inconsistent takes, the images that he has lately released align with the specifications that MacRumors obtained from the supply chain.
Majin Bu also posted about potential new color variants for the upcoming iPhone 16, the first “Desert Titanium” appears to have a warm yellow look similar to the one on the iPhone 14 Pro but slightly darker, and the “Cement Gray” that draws parallels with the iPhone 6 silver metallic design.
