Property agents in Sharjah think that the release of at least 50,000 residential units into the market within a few months will bring about the desired corrective phase in an otherwise overheated rental market.
According to sources at the Sharjah Electricity and Water Authority (SEWA), quoted by Khaleej Times, several ongoing power projects will substantially boost the existing capacity of 1700 MW. This will enable to connect the residential units to power.
