New Zealand's year-to-date trade deficit shrank in April amid dwindling demand for goods produced outside of the island nation's border The gap between imports and exports shrank to NZ$4.1 billion after demand from Asia dropped nearly 10%. Imports from Europe dropped by NZ$176 million.
