Kuwait's National Real Estate Company (NREC) has created and deployed an Oracle-based enterprise portal as a single source of interaction with all of its corporate information.
The first phase of the project was commissioned by utilizing the Oracle9i Application Server Portal to replace the Kuwait Free Trade Zone (KFTZ) static website, in order to give visitors a better experience via a faster, more reliable and secure online portal.
The new portal provides online services to clients of KFTZ as well as the public. Future phases of the NREC portal project are planned to include linking NREC's partner and supplier communities to the portal for online collaboration and trading opportunities.
The new phase of the project which is currently being implemented, integrates both NREC's back-office financial information and front-office customer-facing applications to serve as the focal point for conducting the company's day-to-day property business.
Kuwait-based Oracle partner MIS oversaw the supply, implementation, training and support for the new NREC enterprise portal.
