It was reported that Nvidia will work closely with Insper, one of its main distributors in China, to launch and distribute the newest AI chips.

NVIDIA and China

The US issued rules and controls on Chinese exports in 2023, as an act to slow China’s technological development to prevent innovating its military. Since then, NVIDIA developed three AI chips for the Chinese market.

NVIDIA is planning to sell more than a million of its old AI chips (H20) in China this year, approximately for 12 billion, according to Analogy Semi Group.

The new Blackwell (B20) artificial intelligence chips are expected to arrive to China in 2025. Nvidia's stock increased by 1.4% to $119.67 after the news spread.
