Although the official launch date of the OnePlus 5 has not bee revealed as of yet, reports claim that the Chinese smartphone maker will launch the OnePlus 5 on June 20. OnePlus on Thursday teased that OnePlus 5 will be much slimmer and compact than the OnePlus 3T. The company on its official twitter handle teased the same, although there were rumours that OnePlus 5 will be slimmer than the OnePlus 3T, but now, it is almost confirmed.

In the teaser, OnePlus posted an image which shows the OnePlus 3T from the back. Under the OnePlus 3T, there seems to be something, possibly a phone, which is a bit smaller in size than the OnePlus 3T. The phone under 3T is most definitely the OnePlus 5. Why we are so confident of the phone below of being the OnePlus 5 is because of the hint the company gives on the caption of the teaser. To make it an easy guess for the fans, OnePlus writes: "Look into the shadows. What do you 5ee?" So, here first thing that the company wants everyone to see is the shadow under the OnePlus 3T, and next that confirms that the shadow is of the OnePlus 5 is by the company's way of replacing the word "S" with "5".
Instead of "See" OnePlus writes "5ee". This clearly hints that the shadow is that of the upcoming OnePlus 5 and not of any other device obviously. Also, by looking at the teased picture (see above) it is pretty much evident that OnePlus 5 will come with much slimmer bezels and will be more compact as compared to the other OnePlus devices. In simple terms, OnePlus 5 will be much smaller than last year's OnePlus 3T. If the rumours are to be believed, OnePlus 5 will have the similar display as the OnePlus 3. This means that the flagship smartphone is expected to come with a 5.5-inch display onboard.
That being said, Oneplus CEO Pete Lau on Wednesday confirmed that the upcoming OnePlus 5 will be the slimmest flagship phone ever by the company. Furthermore, another leaked poster suggests that OnePlus 5 will be announced on June 20. The poster was leaked on the Chinese social media site Weibo, which notes: 2017.6.15. However, no official words from OnePlus still now on the launch timeline. The only thing that is confirmed is that OnePlus 5 will come this summer.
Another report coming from Android Authority confirms that OnePlus 5 with dual cameras. Retail box of the OnePlus 5 leaks, and under the box it includes - "Dual camera. Clearer photos". Well, OnePlus 5 coming with dual cameras was exclusively confirmed by India Today Tech about a month ago.
A few days ago, Pan Jiutang, a popular analyst tipped estimation on the pricing details of the OnePlus 5. According to him, the upcoming OnePlus 5 has is likely to be priced around CNY 3,000. However this according to us is a little unlikely. This is because, considering the specs and features that the OnePlus 5 is expected to be much expensive than the OnePlus 3T.
