The OPEC news agency reported Thursday that the daily price of OPEC's basket of seven cruds stood at U.S. $22.61 per barrel Wednesday, up 21c from Tuesday's $22.40.
The OPEC basket comprises Algeria's Saharan Blend, Dubai of the United Arab Emirates, Indonesia's Minas, Mexico's Isthmus cruds, Nigeria's Bonny Light, Saudi Arabian Light, and Venezuela's Tia Juana.
