Adidas Football Launches Ocean Storm Collection: X17, Ocean Storm Colourway for NEMEZIZ, Ace 17+ PURECONTROL

adidas Football has launched the Ocean Storm collection, which includes : a new colourway of the ACE 17+ PURECONTROL, featuring on-pitch, cage and street adaptions; the latest colourway for NEMEZIZ 17+ 360 AGILITY – the brand’s latest boot innovation; and finally the Ocean Storm X17 boot which will be worn on-pitch by some of adidas’ biggest names, including Gareth Bale, Gabriel Jesus and Luis Suárez.

The Ocean Storm X17 features:

Striking two-tone yellow and black colourway
NON STOP GRIP (NSG) finish, giving players unrivalled levels of control
PURECUT SOCK SYSTEM, which sees laces hidden under an upper layer
SPRINTFRAME outsole to create stability during high-speed changes of direction

The Ocean Storm X17 will be available in Stadium and Cage models.

The Ocean Storm NEMEZIZ 17+ 360 AGILITY:

A striking two-tone navy blue & turquoise colourway. NEMEZIZ design feature inspired by the process of taping for increased stability and agility . It is to be worn by Leo Messi, Roberto Firmino & Julian Draxler.

These unique features are apparent through the boot’s AGILITYBANDAGE, featuring revolutionary TORSIONTAPES technology to keep the foot locked down and deliver ultimate fit. A dual-lock collar secures the ankle in place to enable explosive change of direction.

The TORSIONFRAME outsole features an ultra-lightweight construction and TORSIONRIBS to provide dynamic push off support; a key feature for agile movement. The new AGILITYKNIT 2.0 interlocking yarn structure provides a soft direct touch and a lightweight, adaptable feel.

To ensure players can experience the same level of agility in any setting, Ocean Storm NEMEZIZ is also available in both Cage and Street adaptations. With the same colourway as the on-pitch boot, both the cage and street shoes feature the same TORSIONTAPES and AGILITYKNIT 2.0, giving the most agile players the same tools to support their agility in the cage and on the street.

The Latest ACE 17+ PURECONTROL Colourway :

The Ocean Storm ACE 17+ PURECONTROL features a PRIMEKNIT upper to ensure zero wear-in time and a PURECUT Sock System - designed to lock the foot in place while adjusting to complex movements. The two-tone colourway features a navy blue upper, turquoise heel counter and Sock System, with classic three stripes in white. The boot also features adidas’ iconic BOOST sole to deliver unrivalled energy return.

The Ocean Storm Cage shoe features the same two-tone navy blue and turquoise colourwayas the on-pitch boot. It includes a PRIMEKNIT upper with a layer of NSG film to provide close ball control and a stretchable layer of TECHFIT material to optimise comfort. The shoe features a turquoiseEVA strip above the BOOST heel counter and the adidas three stripes in white.

The ACE 17+ Street shoe completes the Ocean Storm collection. The shoe is constructed with a three-piece PRIMEMESH material, a TECHFIT colour coating on the three stripes and a full-length BOOST midsole to offer a lifestyle look.
