Al Salam Bank Launches New ID Card ATM Service

Al Salam Bank has launched its newest ATM service enabling clients to use their identification cards to complete their banking transactions. Through the new service, clients can view their account balance and withdraw twice a day up to BD 1,000 without the use of their ATM card.
Clients will be required to enter their ID cards into the ATM to receive an SMS on their registered mobile number containing a One-Time-Password (OTP) to access the account and conduct transactions safely and comfortably.
On the occasion, Mohammed Buhijji, Head of Retail Banking at Al Salam Bank, said: “As part of our continuous efforts to offer unique and comfortable banking solutions, we are pleased to announce the launch of our newest service that aims to facilitate our clients’ cash withdrawals. This comes as part of our commitment to meet our clients’ needs and provide them with the ideal banking experience.”
The Bank invites all of its newly onboarded clients from Ithmaar Bank to replace their existing Ithmaar Bank cards with Al Salam Bank cards to enjoy an uninterrupted banking experience through our instant issuance KIOSK devices available in our branches or through our mobile application. Ithmaar clients who have changed their cards are now eligible to enter in Al Salam Bank’s prize draws, and gain access to benefits from a range of exclusive offers, rewards, and benefits, as well as Apple Pay and Samsung Pay.

Al Salam Bank-Bahrain B.S.C (ASBB) is an Islamic bank headquartered in the Kingdom of Bahrain, and licensed and regulated by the Central Bank of Bahrain.
