BisB Organizes Health Awareness Initiatives for its Employees

In line with its social responsibility efforts, Bahrain Islamic Bank (BisB) recently organized a number of initiatives aimed at raising awareness around men's health issues as well as preventative and treatment measures, in conjunction with the annual global "Movember" campaign.
A series of initiatives were hosted across the month of November 2022, including the participation of number of our staff in a virtual symposium in collaboration with BarnaMedical Consultants Center, presented by Dr. Raouf El Barnachawy, Consultant in Urology & Andrology. The Bank's Social Committee also displayed an awareness poster at the Bank's main entrance, and distributed leaflets, gifts, and blue badges to the Bank's employees in support of cancer fighters.
Commenting on the occasion, Ms. Afnan Ahmed Saleh, Chief Human Resources Officer at BisB, said, "We at BisB keep the health of our employees as one of our top priorities, and empathize with the ordeal experienced by cancer patients and their respective families. In line with the Bank's social responsibility ethos, we are keen to raise awareness on the different types of cancer, preventative and treatment measures, and on the psychological support practices for cancer patients to support them during difficult times. We are firmly committed to organizing additional awareness initiatives to safeguard the health and wellbeing of our employees and the community at large."
