Comguard launches array of new security solutions

Comguard, a Dubai based leading value added distributor for IT security products today announced the launch of array of new security solutions from gate protect in the Middle East region.

Comguard unveils gateprotect Secure Web Gateway (SWG), a new network security solution integrated with open source CMS WebGUI. The security solution creates an additional layer of security in the networks of enterprises, and enables timely response to threats.

This new solution is aimed at the enterprise market, and addresses the security concerns that arise from working on cloud, web-based applications and increase social media interactions. The Secure Web Gateway focuses on defending an enterprise against malware, and integrates several technologies that identify and curb unwarranted data traffic. It also allows an organisation to efficiently monitor social media.

Secure Web Gateway integrates WebGUI and features a multi-admin concept can also address fast advancing 2.0 threats through a streamlined approach. WebGUI’s unique graphic concept saves time and eliminates errors, while simultaneously facilitating work for multiple administrators. The network security solution relieves the firewall within complex networks, ensuring increased performance. It also extends support to Internet Protocol version 4 (IPv4) and Internet Protocol version 6 (IPv6), a feature which is extremely crucial in mixed networks.
