Emirates Palace appoints new Executive Housekeeper

Abu Dhabi’s iconic landmark, Emirates Palace, has recently appointed Pamini Hemaprabha as the Executive Housekeeper and Master Trainer to lead and achieve guest satisfaction.  

Bringing over twelve years of international housekeeping experience to this role, “Considering that she has been part of the Kempinski family and has continuously demonstrated her proven ability to deliver the highest standards, I am glad to have such a talent join Emirates Palace and wish her the very best,” said Hotel General Manager Holger Schroth.

Hemaprabha expressed gratitude towards the appointment, stating, “I enjoyed senior leadership positions in this field for major luxury hospitality groups throughout the Middle East, Africa and India, and I will work tirelessly to achieve all the best outcomes and add my quota to this iconic property.” 

Pamini Hemaprabha received the ‘Best Housekeeper 2014 award’ at the Hotelier Middle East awards held in Dubai 2014. Apart from her Executive Housekeeper role, she is also a Master Trainer for Kempinski Hotels, which involves her travelling around the world to impart knowledge on best practices and Kempinski standards.

Pamini is a Gold medalist graduate of BSC Catering Science and Hotel Management School and started her career in 2003 as Housekeeping Supervisor / Lady Butler in Park Sheraton Chennai, India.  She moved to the United Arab Emirates in 2006 and joined Grand Hyatt Dubai as Housekeeping Team leader. Pamini joined Raffles Hotels & Resorts as Assistant Housekeeping Manager in 2007 and paved her success path to Assistant Director of Housekeeping, fetching herself a Highly Commended Housekeeper award in 2010. 

In 2011 she was promoted to the Director of Housekeeping position in Fairmont Heliopolis and Towers, Cairo Egypt. During her tenure in Egypt she launched the Housekeeper’s Association in Cairo, a first for the country. She then joined Kempinski Mall of Emirates, Dubai UAE during 2012 as Executive Housekeeper and made her way to Regional Rooms Specialist for India, Middle East and Africa.

Pamini is an Indian national and speaks fluent English, Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Oriya and moderate French.
