FIFA Live Winner Takes Home Grand Cash Prize of AED50,000 From Mall of the Emirates, City Centre Deira and City Centre Mirdif Final Playoffs

Majid Al Futtaim, the leading shopping mall, communities, retail and leisure pioneer across the Middle East, Africa and Asia, has awarded the winning FIFA Live player with a grand total of AED50,000. Mall of the Emirates, City Centre Deira and City Centre Mirdif hosted the number one online game in the GCC, EA Sports FIFA 17 live on PlayStation 4, exclusively during Dubai Summer Surprises (DSS). The gaming challenge is in line with Majid Al Futtaim’s strategy to introduce worldwide trending concepts such as e-gaming in its flagship destinations. Unlike any time before players were able to compete with a friend and share the great experience together.

Over the two-day final playoffs held at City Centre Mirdif 511 games were played with Nasr Haddadin taking the grand cash prize of AED50,000 home.

Over 3000 participants played the game during DSS, each of them vying to take the top spot and win the grand cash prize in the 1 v 1 game. The malls have hosted a staggering 1800 FIFA Live games, totalling 20,000 minutes played!

The runner up in the 1 v 1 competition won AED15,000, while in the 2 v 2 competitions 1^st place took home AED4,000 and 2^nd place won 1,000AED. Players battled it out to win some incredible prizes. The Top 10 Players, the winning pair of 2 v 2 and Top 8 players of 1 v 1 each won a Football Jersey while the Top Goal Scorer in 1 v 1 walked away with a PlayStation Pro Gift Pack every week. During the weekdays, players competed in the 100 Fastest Goals Challenge to win FIFA Ultimate Team Codes.
