Jotun opens technical services site office at King Abdulaziz International Airport
Jotun the No.1 paint company in Saudi Arabia has opened its first ever technical services site office in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia at King Abdulaziz International Airport (KAIA) Jeddah. Jotun’s initiative follows the company’s appointment as the leading paint/coating supplier in the current phase of the mega project to upgrade and upscale the airport to meet the huge year-on-year increase in domestic and international air travel.
Jotun will support KAIA by providing contractors with top notch expertise and assistance to ensure quality and services are maintained without any compromise. To this effect, the technical services site office will provide information about approved paint systems, colour schemes, conduct technical meetings at the site to solve routine issues, give presentations about product usage and carry out regular supervision and inspection.
The expansion of King Abdul Aziz International Airport is an ambitious project to create a state-of-the-art airport that will act as an international hub connecting east and west with the port city of Jeddah and the gateway of the two holy cities of Makkah and Madinah.
The project will be carried out in three phases and is expected to be completed by 2035 with a serving capacity of 80 million passengers annually. Phase one covers over a million sqm and consists of terminal complexes, control tower, load centers, railway station and supporting facilities. When completed KAIA will be a state-of-the-art airport city with facilities and services that are environmentally and economically sound.
“The prestigious KAIA contract win is highly important for Jotun,” commented Mr. Khaja Hafeezuddin, Sales Manager – Deco Projects Jotun Saudia. “Accordingly, we have opened the technical services site office in line with our vision ‘Jotun Protects Property’ and to support our commitment to ‘Closer to Consumer.’ I am pleased to say that the project authorities and all the contractors have welcomed Jotun's door step services as a gesture that exceeds their expectations.”
Jotun takes pride in everything and the services they offer to their customers. Taking a step ahead than everyone in the market our Single Source Solution (SSS) approach is the key reason to win the KAIA project.
Knowing the depth of the project, Jotun Saudia technical team surveyed the area and understood the right need for the right product at the right place. Based on the SSS concept Jotun Saudia has offered various products from its each segment.
With the SSS approach, Jotun Decorative Projects Segment has secured approval to supply Fenomastic Hygiene, Fenomastic Stain Resistant, Jotashield Topcoat Silk, Jotashield Tex Ultra & Jotashield Super Durable, Tankguard 412, Jotafloor Coating.
